In crisis or thinking about harming yourself? Contact your local emergency number, or open StopCorn › Get help now for helplines in your country.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open StopCorn and tap “Restore purchase”. It’s on the first screen, on the plans screen and in Settings › Subscription. Use the same Apple Account you bought StopCorn Pro with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. In StopCorn, go to Settings › Subscription › “Manage subscription”, or open iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to stop the next renewal. Deleting the app or your data doesn’t cancel it.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Your data isn’t in iCloud or computer backups, so export a backup first. On the old phone, go to Settings › Privacy & security › “Export my data”, choose a passphrase (at least 8 characters) and save the file, for example in Files or iCloud Drive. On the new phone, tap “Restore from a backup file” on the first screen, or go to Settings › Privacy & security › “Import data”, pick the file and enter the passphrase. Importing replaces everything on that phone. Keep the passphrase safe: without it, the backup can’t be opened, and it can’t be recovered.
How do I delete everything?
Go to Settings › “Delete everything”, type DELETE and confirm. This removes your logs, reasons, plans and settings from this phone. It can’t be undone; only a backup you exported can bring it back. It doesn’t change the random ID used for subscription checks, remove usage stats not yet sent (they’re sent only if you turn usage stats on again) or remove what RevenueCat, Mixpanel or Apple already have; deleting the app removes everything StopCorn kept on the phone. Your subscription is managed by Apple, and deleting your data doesn’t cancel it.
What leaves my phone?
Everything you tell StopCorn stays on this phone. There’s no account and no StopCorn server. Only these things leave it. Usage stats, if you’re 18+ and turn them on: only counts of which features get used, not linked to you, never your answers, notes or progress. They’re off by default; turn them off any time in Settings › Privacy & security. Subscription checks with RevenueCat each time the app starts, with a random ID, a device identifier from iOS and technical details; once you’ve answered that you’re under 18, later starts make none. Apple handles the payment itself. RevenueCat can also switch on diagnostics of its own software. If you’re 18+ and turned on usage stats, RevenueCat is also told when the plans screen is shown and learns whether the install came from an Apple Ads campaign. Crash reports, which Apple may pass on only if you turned on “Share with App Developers” in iOS Settings. And anything you send yourself, such as a message to your person or a weekly note. RevenueCat and Mixpanel, which receives the usage stats, see your IP address when the app connects. Full details: https://koderka.com/apps/stopcorn/privacy
Where can I get help in a crisis?
If you’re in danger or might hurt yourself, call your local emergency number now. In StopCorn, “Get help now” is free and on every screen, with helplines to call or text and a link to find a helpline in your country. StopCorn is a self-help tool, not therapy or a medical device. If you’re struggling, please talk to a professional.
How do I contact support?
Write to support@koderka.com, or use Settings › Help › “Contact support” in the app. You can also use the contact form. Please don’t send personal details about your habits; I don’t need them to help.
